I'd advise not to jump into conclusions so early. It's just an opening, it doesn't necessarily mean Shinki and Boruto will fight.

They just needed to include Shinki there because he's one of the main secondary characters.

according to the manga boruto didn't fight shinki at all. seems like it's an opening thing only. i don't think they'll change the way boruto meets shinki. i doubt it. in the manga there is no relation between boruto and shinki yet.

Yeah. For Boruto to fight Shinki, they'd have to modify pretty much everything. Making Boruto have 3 fights would mean he'd reach the semis/finals, retconning everything we've seen in the movie/manga.

Also, If Boruto fought Shinki, there's a chance he could lose, and if that happened, there would be no room for his infamous fight against Shikadai.

I don't know. This opening is very Boruto-centred.

Well obviously Mitsuki is the MVP and the strongest new gen so far. Hence my reaction when i saw the opening because that would only leave one opponent to fight Sarada and that is Mitsuki

Except he doesn’t. You know full well the Kage and Sasuke do ALL of the heavy lifting. Boruto’s vanishing Rasengan doesn’t even Momo, and he get gets the final blow with a Rasengan powered by his dad’s chakra.

Yet you guys go on about how he soloed Momo. If it were Sarada you’d be up arms about how she needed to be assisted to win.
