It’s intresting that both Boruto & Sarada have daddy issues considering that Sasuke & Naruto went without fathers for the majority of their lives. What’s even more intresting is that Boruto & Naruto started out just as disconnected from each other as Sarada & Sasuke when one is in the village and the other is in a different dimension.

Sarada didn't grow up with Sasuke being there at all so she didn't really get to bond with him.

Whereas Boruto and Himawari, they knew their dad and loved him from actual experiences and quality time. So when they lost Naruto, it effected them.

They never really started as disconnected unlike Sarada who was basically just fatherless, that's why Boruto hate the Hokage so much.

What is all this sadness for naruto..the person who got shafted was boruto( the child here) if anything I was kinda pissed at Naruto. I mean come on , its your only sons birthday, it's not like it's a everyday event. There is no way i am buying that naruto cant spend a damn hour at home with his son. How is it that in a time of peace naruto is working longer than previous hokage who lived in a war torn era. They act as if in the hour naruto is at home the next great ninja war is going to start bc he took a damn hr off..GTFOU. I am not giving him at pass here like others are...hell cant shikmaru run the villiage for a hr or two. It's so ridiculous guys. They have to create some conflict between Naruto and boruto so in the most peaceful era ever Naruto can't break away for 1to 2 hrs for one day...are you kidding me.whats worst is we know he turns around and does the same thing to hima as well...wth man. This isn't war time ppl..it just makes Naruto look bad as a father. I know some fans may not like that but it's the truth..sidenote anyone noticed how they never say to us or naruto family what great world shattering situation always comes up to keep him from coming home.

Yet Boruto grew up with Naruto around, initially bonded with him and then the bond deteriorated to the point of nonexistence in Boruto’s mind (similar to Sasuke & Saradas). I never said the circumstances were the same because as I pointed out before they are not but the strain on each relationship (Father->Child) is the same.

I don’t deny that Boruto had actual experiences with his father or never bonded with him early on in life (unlike Sarada) but again at some point in both of their lives, they both felt disconnected from their fathers (strained relationship).
