This is what makes boruto "predictable" and disinteresting.You just know what to expect.
Everyone learned jutsu way too quickly. Too rushed, and we still haven't gotten to the momoshiki arc, yet. Too gimmicky.
I haven't seen any of them take time, like genin, LEARNING these nature jutsu. They're made to be "perfect", and then when they're suppose to have an advantage, they can't do shit.
They made sarada look pathetic fighting konohamaru, when we all know she has advanced "strength" as well as chakra enhanced strength. And then mitsuki, who had "sage mode", lost to one of the jonin...when it was clear that he was advanced and talented for his age. He's not really "genin level", as shown with kishimoto's depiction of him.
Mitsuki should be jonin level. Everything is backwards. They know shit when they shouldn't, but don't know shit when they should.That's how you know they do things for no reason.

Well, Boruto does have an Otsutsuki seal and a never before seen dojutsu, so it is not out of the question.

My post telling everyone to watch the video in the thread. and the screen shots of Kakashi, Sasuke and Naruto saying Boruto is better has all been deleated. so it's more like Kakashi's and Sasuke's and Naruto's dream.
