After killing Naruto's parents
In short, 14 yo old tobi whooped Minato's ass to death?

Hundreds of other people in Konoha
Neji
Thousands of other people in alliance
Reviving the Juubi which let to Kaguya's revival afterwards

Redeeming qualities:
Saved Sasuke
Gave Kakashi the power needed to stop Kaguya

Would you forgive a mass murder like Obito?
Christianity would say, "Yes."

It will stupid if he remember as a Hero of the 4th war. I cant imagine Naruto looking him at his face trying to save him when Neji died in his arms.

Well, he is just like his father who also tried to save Obito when it was him who killed Kushina and made Minato sacrifice his life.

That Kishimoto. Takes forgiveness to the next level.
