What you hate about YouTube?

There are a couple of things that irk me about how YouTube is used. But first, I like YouTube because you can learn almost anything because there is bound to be a tutorial video out there.

Now, what I hate.

Social/cultural critics- these people effing suck. They talk about the lies of the mainstream media. But their sources are the mainstream media. They are not reporting news from first hand events. Basically, each video is third hand information which they claim to be theirs.

Donations as payment - I get you want to be a YouTuber full time. But don’t say you will quit because you are not getting paid enough through ads. Especially when your “job” consists of reading online articles.

Reviewers- I like reviewers because they basically are first hand accounts of something. I just don’t like tv reviewers because they are basically reaction videos without being live. It gets annoying quickly when everyone says the same thing.

Ads - I hate when people put like 5 ads in a 10 minutes video. I remember watching a video of some guy stealing a DBS episode and he put an ad every 3 minutes. Also video essays with way too many ads. At least put them where there are natural breaks.

Creators who complain about editing - I rarely see anyone do actual editing in their videos. And when they do; it’s just adding some meme between words. Why is this cool?

Typically, if you have a channel, you want people to know...to gain more subscribers. I thought that was common sense.

I’m not like you. I don’t “push” my content to others. That sounds too sleazy. Maybe you are the type to do it, not me. I find it more respectable to be found organically. When people search my content and find me.

Not if you're doing it for a bigger purpose.

If you have a bigger purpose, it pretty much doesn't matter where you are...you promote or put yourself out there if you have an important MESSAGE. Whatever you're doing on that channel, must be unnecessary.

Yeah, the ads are really annoying. The worst is when there's like 5 in a music video, like why... just why.

YouTube is a private company which originally was meant for users
to post fun, informative, musical, artistic, positivity, etc. videos.
