"A mother is the strongest being, even stronger than kaido"

Who do you think he means by "a mother" possibly big mom?

Edit: and yes it was said after kaidos introduction and "strongest living creature" stuff, oda tends to do this a lot

Nah, he means mothers in general. There's a reason no one has any, or at least not for long.

Or Luffy's momma, or zoros, or namis. Generally, all mothers can do that.

^^Boy your sig's hella cool. Where do you get that?

OT: By mother he probably meant in relation to upcoming plot which might reveal a Mugiwara's biological mother or probably the "mother" of Mugiwara Ichimi which is I believe: Nico Robin as he has stated in an age old interview.

Franky is the "father".

We've yet to see an all-out fight from Nico, might as well get it soon.

He obviously meant that Big Mom is the strongest Yonko.
jk. He was probably just referring to mothers in general, particularly their willpower and determination when it comes to their children. (ie. Portgas D. Rouge)

How do you think big mom will treat katakuri since he lost?

Well I think we were lead to believe that she just axes off the family members that lose their fights, but Snack is still there and kicking. So maybe a demotion in title? That's all I can see happening from Big Mom's side. Personally I'd love to see Katakuri slowly turn on her as he realises her way isn't the best way for him... or anyone really.

If she told him he had to give some of his soul up, do you think katakuri would put up a fight, flee, or obey? Haha I hope oda doesn't skip over this, I know she will feel some type of way about luffy beating him.

Maybe she will just be shocked and kinda like, damn, and not be upset with katakuri at all?

Hmm... I could see him giving it up, or at least willing to and something will happen which results in him not doing.
