The episode WASN'T bad

I'm hearing complaints how the episode was pointless and filled with flashbacks which is totally wrong.

All the *flashbacks* shown in the episode are narrated by the teachers . They were commenting on every scene which makes them NOT flashbacks. all the scenes didn't have voice overs the teachers were talking about them in the background.

so how is this considered flashbacks? lol

People fail to realize that this episodes sets the new gen for the chunin exams . It was like a recap to everything that happened before from the teacher's perspective!

It's not bad but since past anime arcs and manga chapters were slow plot wise and nothing happened it was a bit annoying to get a recap episode and next episode looks to be boring as well hope this chapter saves this week and month

next episode boring? next episode is the first episode of movie arc as evidenced by the ost they used in the preview. and it focuses on boruto and naruto relationship which is very important plot wise. stop BSting

First off i didnt say I wasn't a boruto fan I said the pointless filler is getting tiring, and next episode is filler setting up for the chunin exam like this episode was. Like I said it could have some interesting things to keep the episode worthwhile but for now it doesn't seem interesting.

Did Kishi wrote them? No.

Kishimoto didn't say they were canon, Kishimoto just approved them, as in "yeah, these light novels are approved. Thumbs up mofos *yellow grin*".

Also if Kishimoto wrote the novels, then we could consider them canon. A dude called Kō Shigenobu wrote the novels and Ukyo doing the artwork means zit.

They aren't even part of the timeline for the Boruto series which also doesn't prove anything canon wise. The same happened with Naruto but at least the light novels filled the huge time gap there was and Kishi at least did the artwork.

Haha of course you wouldn't have a problem with flashbacks. You brain was trained to love it with dem Obito flashbacks activating his Sharingan and saving Kakashi. They had this scene in shippuden about 15 times. XD

You've been in denial about this show since 2017. You REFUSE to acknowledge that the show is very lousy, inconsistent, and has no real significant plot. It's pulling out cards one after another, just to stay relevant. It's become similar to "pokemon".

Your view on "Boruto" is just favoritism, really. It's not REALLY all that good, you just CHOOSE to like it, because of your "positivity bias"...which is also living a lie.
