So my question here is that WHEN the anime goes to the Chunnin exams and we see people like Urashiki and Boruto, Sarada and other people's outfit.


How do we make sense in all of this.


Kodachi is working on the Chunnin Anime exams too and using a ton of extra Kishi material.


Do we just eventually consider the manga as a rough draft and not the finished product?

Ike does what he likes, the reason the novel covers use the anime clothes are because those were the clothes of the Anime. Also I'm sure people weren't happy with Ike changing the clothes.

Oh btw characters change there clothes all the time there's no bearing on the timeline. The manga is definitely canon and the anime has large parts which are canon.

While I gave up on the whole canon vs filler debate a long time ago, my personal view of it is that the anime is the final version to what other medias, the manga in special, established.

I think until we start seeing solid inclusion we should look at them as two separate stories. I can't really think of many other anime that started this close to their manga counterpart, usually the manga gets a while to lay ground work before an anime comes.

Because of its quality?They don' t even finish their draws, they don' t care about the quality of this manga, this manga has buyers just because of Kishimoto' s masterpiece.

Draft doesn' t mean non-canon, to make a draft is a fast way to put your (canon) ideas on the table without caring about details, like the quality of the draws, the consistency of the draws, to finish the draws...

The Boruto manga doesn' t need a small oversigth, it needs a complete remastery art wise, that' s why it feels like a draft.
