It was never actually confirmed but the DB did attribute it to Mito Uzumaki and classisfed it as Uzumaki forbidden finjutsu so I agree.

Tsunade is the last living Uzumaki that is using it.. and even then she tuned it up to be a new jutsu beyond it being the yin seal

I wouldn't even call it the same thing but a reference to Tsunade's own new tech

I doubt any future Uzumaki's will ever use it or care to even learn it

especially with how stacked the current clan is with SSS tier techs

Since people don't even want her to even have Katsuyu as a summon (they said hawks and snakes, and other Sasuke things)


and Sarada wouldn't really be an Uzumaki, like Hinata she would be an Uzumaki in the future by marriage name alone


plus the seal equates you to follow the medical rules of Tsunade

which means to eventually learn it you need to decide to become a disciple of the tsunade medical school and teachings

aka a field medic and last I checked no Sarada fan wanted Sarada to be a medic


but again I doubt the Mito seal and the current byakugou is the same thing




the best solution to carry on the thing, if Tsunade doesn't outlive everyone is for Sakura to have another child and pass the ability down to him/her

Mito's Yin Seal was probably undeveloped like Minato's Rasengan. Tsunade creating Byakugou no Jutsu from the seal is the equivalent of Naruto creating Rasenshuriken from Rasengan.

or the yin seal could be something else entirely and from that ground work like the bijuu bomb to the rasengan, Tsunade decided to take the idea of the yin seal and make it into something similar to Hashirama's self healing

Yep, basically an Uzumaki technique. They need to make fuinjutsus and space-time ninjutsu more abundant in part 3. Could also go for some good medical ninjutsu, always found it interesting.

Mito Byakugou most like gave her a weaker version of Creation Rebirth probably simular to Karin's healing ability, because the foxes Chakra heals injuries when released.

But she used it the same as tsunade, to boost her jutsu to extreme levels.
Byakugou turns a tic tac into a tube of toothpaste.

A kitchen sink mentality or too much chefs making both, eventually spoils the broth

having too many techs makes yourself messy

it is like studying... if you try to learn every subject you won't get anywhere in perfecting a specific one and adding to it

took Sakura three years, an amount of time Sarada can use to do Uchiha training stuff or other things

having one style and another style and another style eventually makes them overlap and confuses the user

even with Boruto wanking we say we don't want him to learn such and such, or such and such as it doesn't add to his moveset style...then again this is Sakura's ONLY kid and Tsunade doesn't seem to be getting a new disciple




I also still believe it was too seperate things as

a) Madara never knew it
b) Orochimaru never saw it until the Tsunade retrieval arc and called it a new jutsu

Tsunade when explaining it for both of them never stated it as an old move that was refined but bragged about it as a new technique that tried to emulate certain things


the Mito yin seal was likely a basic nudge in that idea creation for the byakugou




and the Uzumaki Sarada thing.... I mean that if Kishi gets his way it might be an inevtablity
we will see it being jammed at full speed in this upcoming arc

for all we know the tags and that yin dot can be things preventing and containing the Kyuubi before the final Eight Trigrams Sealing Style

Kakashi apparently has all these ninjutsus but he never uses them as it isn't part of his fighting style

he opts for his own clans dog stuff instead

then you would consider that he learnt those ninjutsus due to being an anbu and facing so many opponents

and the fact that those ninjutsus are all offensive attacks that don't change his overall combat/ninja role


on the other hand a medical ninja is different from other forms of ninjas like recon, close combat, long distance, focused taijutsu, kenjutsu, defensive, offensive, sealing based ninja, etc....

Tsunade's statement here even proves my point that medical ninja instead focus on certain fields that would suit their occupation


not wasting time learning everything under the son and never being a master of it


heck Naruto and Sasuke aren't even doing that

Nope! She can do both, it all depends on her chakra control and intellect (she inherited both from her mother). Sarada has already proven herself to have mastered her clans fire Justus and her sharnigan evolves with practice so she’ll be good.

Sarada doesn’t have to be Tsunades disciple to learn Byakugou when her mother has the same Justu and surpassed Tsunade.

The argument isn’t that Mito had the seals regenerative technique, it’s that she had the seal itself. Tsunade invented the regeneration technique Madara didn’t know about, that technique derived from the Hyakugou Seal which Mito had.
