Yeah, idk what they’re planning to do with Boruto’s eyes (plural) but perhaps Kara will go after his family to seize his Jougan. They may successfully take his eye (via scar) or not but he will get screwed like Momo foreshadowed.

plus Kara is all about seals and Boruto so far has only shown his dojutsu to be manually active via the help of the seal

but so far like the eye or eyes, we haven't a clue as to what the writers will chose to do with it and what abilities or meaning it has

I think the Jougan might be too unique in the. Byakugan lineage to be manifested that way.similar to Ms sharingan

I also agree that MS has its uniqueness in different power traits

we've seen different MS users have different unique abilities that are something we would assume Indra didn't have

not sure about kaguya as that character was rushed


what makes the said power to awaken? is it a personality issue, like did Obito get Kamui due to him forsaken his identity and becoming a ghost or dreaming of living in a fake utopia?

there is so much to work with here

even Boruto's eye can be connected to plot holes or future plot stuff with Kara or the Otsutsuki

they need to conclude these things so we can fill out a complete puzzle to how these things genetically work

even super saiyain in Super has a physical way of activating it

Unless the Jogan is something beyond genetics like Naruto being Asura's incarnate, Himawari can potentially get it, especially with the implication that Ootsutsukis in general have that eye. Regardless, her potential in power and relevance are very high.

I feel bad for the ones taking this series seriously though..

So far, it has a lot of promise it its too stuck with part 1, easy going, school attending slice of life.
Himawari's byakugan will take away way too much from Boruto so that's why it hasn't come back yet.

2nd, she is half-breed Hyuuga. Ikemoto could decide that it acts like a sharingan, only comes out in extreme emotions.

Also, there is the rule of parallels.

the younger sibling embodies the yang = body/lifeforce while the older embodies the doujutsu.

as for Boruto's jougan, the reason why it only affects his right eye is solely due to his parallel with Sasuke.
It could be both but unlikely.
The only thing I could think of that he can gain both jougan is Himawari holding the left jougan.

Agreed OP is way too much into fanfics.

OT: Why would she want the Jogan it seems like Kurenai's ringless Sharingan or an inferior version for an inferior character. Byakugan is good enough for her even if she's of lesser quality provided she trains with Hanabi hime the heiress.
