Sai has a better story then Sasuke.
Hi everyone. Many people don't know Sai's story. he is not one of the main charaters and not every many people like him. I don't his story it's not shown in as in detail in the anime or manga but has extra details in books and in boruto that round out his charater.
The story of sai starts when the is chosen as the replacement for Sasuke and almost everyone hates him and he does a terrable job as a replacement but from this start his charater grows from terrable to ok. we are told more about danzo from his back story being kidnapped and placed under genjutsu being forced to kill his best freind. (something that itachi told saskue to do) and we start to see how much of a **** Danzo is. showing a what if danzo got his way with Sasuke type thing.
as the story progesses we learn the reason for sai being a gay weido guy with his mid drift showing. to a stight guy with a hot wife and a son. a story with a beinging mid and end. as with the death of danzo sai having the seal placed on him released. and with Naruto and Sakura as freinds he begains to start to have a bit more of his own person. and even defeating 2 of the stronger ninjas in the naruto verse. one of them was said to be on par with Kisame based on his data book entry.
being a supporting charater in the story. and having many important events with the films and the danzo arc. we also learn of the love story betwine ino and sai. when Ino using her mind transfer jutsu enters Sais mind and reveals he was under genjutsu the whole time and the whole weido thing was undone just like that. making sai into a dude who has full lengh shirts and is kinda cool. a full transison from how he started.
Ino being in love with saskue. falls for the wanabe saskue and have inojin. making two bad charaters into one single good one.

He has one Uchiha by marriage and a daughter with a Sharingan. A small group of Shin clones being cared for by Kabuto...and he is traveling around the world “defending” Kanoha from a distance...which loosely translates to spreading his Uchiha seed to the 5 Great Nations IMO:bdpf:
