Himawari is overrated?

I swear sarada fans stay being jealous of himawari the series barely starting and developing main anime cast still so of course it's to early for himawari to solo but we already know what tier she is stop hating since she's better than your favs

I don't think I need to say this, but most people that praise her as being this unbeatable character are obviously joking, as the notion of a small, cheerful girl who isn't a ninja being the strongest fighter is ironic, especially with her being the little sister and daughter of the two main protagonists, since the role of "main character's sister" and "main character's daughter" in anime tends to come with the connotation of being helpless or in need of saving.

That said, she still deserves praise for what she pulled off.

She unlocked her Byakugan at 3, multiple years before Itachi unlocked his Sharingan. And this is even more exceptional as Uchihas unlock their eyes through trauma, while Hyugas do it through training.

She managed to strike the Tenketsu, something Neji, at 14, was hailed as a genius unheard of in the Hyuga's history for being able to pull it off so well despite his age and being a branch member.

She knocked Naruto and Kurama out with the power of her Gentle Fist. The closest any other Hyuga has come to this feat is Hizashi, who temporarily paralyzed Hiashi with a Gentle Fist strike. And given Hizashi and Hiashi are equals, this means her Gentle Fists' potency surpasses the two best known Hyugas even with a 30 year age gap.

Now, as for her those claiming her to be a gag character, I highly disagree with this point. Just because she had one gag moment in the Hokage One Shot does not make her a gag character, unless we are to argue both Chocho or Metal are gag characters and should thus be ignored just because they are used for comedic effect. Or even other joke characters like Sakura, Suigetsu, and Karin, who are often used for comic relief.

Her not appearing in the manga is not surprising since no one bar Team 7 is getting any focus as of now. And it seems it will continue to be that way. Won't really surprise me if the other team get ignored. But unlike people like Shikadai or Wasabi, Himawari has a connection to the plot at hand being a Hyuga and thus, a Byakugan alien, so her chances of being relevant once she starts training with Hiashi, which the anime has foreshadowed, are among the highest outside of Sumire if we are to exclude Bolt, Mitsuki and Salad.

Hinata couldn't shut the network, only damage it, and Neji was praised for being able to do so at his age, while Himawari achieved it immediately 10 years younger than Neji and 30 years younger than Hizashi, the second strongest Hyuga, who as of now, is the closest to her in that feat.

By feats her potential is too high, that I can understand why fans overhype her.

Knocking out adult Naruto+Kurama, in one touch, the second after she awakens her byakugans, without training, is a feat that can' t be overated.Just compare that feat to Neji the genius, he couldn' t KO chunin exam Naruto+Kurama using 64 hits of his technique that he trained many years to master.
Himawari' s instinctive gentle fist mastery is hugely powerfull, and many seem to underate that feat.

He could’ve easily caught her arm, blocked her hand with a Kurama chakra arm, etc. It was a comedy segment which, obviously, shouldn’t be taken seriously.
