Choose to come back? He rather respected the decision of his clan of staying with the Senju. We're talking about Madara that killed Sasuke. Not old Madara who was still chosen to defect from his clan so he had plenty of time to grieve over the matter or chose to go back. This only reaffirms my point. Madara only cared about his plan at this stage.
Madara didn't show any signs of sadness after killing Sasuke and he didn't hesistate once he had his rinnegan. he only wanted to use Sasuke for his plan as that was his main concern.
Madara only saw Sasuke a slight chance to fight along side a fellow clansmen again or so but emotional sadness was not something Madara was experiencing he killed Sasuke. Madara was too far goneNobody is saying he was crying rivers for Sasuke. He didn't even truly know him lol.
But it still hurt a lot to betrayed ONE more time for the clan (that was again in the Senju side) his whole family died to protect.
Choose to come back? He rather respected the decision of his clan of staying with the Senju.
And take another good look, he was dissapointed yes and numb yes.
He cared as much as giving him a final speech about their EMS eyes: he was going to loose himself. And that was his true end.
That's so ambivalent it hurts. Madara was talking about himself too. He was seeing himself in Sasuke.
Can you see Madara saying this to Sakura or Kakashi? Of course not, and that's because Madara cares about Sasuke.
Positive. Are you sure? He seemed pretty numb and disappointed here:

He didn't give a speech about their eyes. He only proved his point about the ninja world and why it has to change so basically he killed Sasuke to prove a point to tobirama by using Hashiramas words. That is actually insanely good writing on Kishis part. To end someone life that way doesn't mean you actually care about them, but Sasuke did mean something to Madara if that's what you're getting at but it only go as far as respected clansmen
Sadness isn't just expressed by tears and sad speeches y'know?Madara only saw Sasuke a slight chance to fight along side a fellow clansmen again or so but emotional sadness was not something Madara was experiencing he killed Sasuke. Madara was too far gone
1. Madara didn't know that Sasuke wouldn't be immuneHe did not truly care, he was putting everyone IT including Sasuke who wasn’t immune at that time
He just wanted to use Sasuke just like Obito
Laughing out loud really.Dude wot? Lol that look was more like
"You got in my way and I had to handle you"
Nothing about Madara screamed or even hinted he had a soft spot or cared that he killed sauske.. He was willing to sacrifice obito.. and no sauske wasn't the last uchiha.. lol obv madara was there and obito was still alive.. He asked Sauske simply due to lineage obligation.. Other than that, madara didn't give a rats ass about sauske
He actually thought the jutsu would save the Uchiha.Honestly at this point in the story it didn't bother him as much as you think. I'm not going to go into detail about his life and all that.. but the Madara in the 4th shinobi war had just one goal due to how he, his clan, and even shinobi in general were treated after he saw what the tablets said (and thinking that was the correct/original translation).. that goal being IT.
He was willing to do whatever it took to get there. That includes working with anyone that he deemed strong enough to make his job easier. I'm sure he saw himself in Sasuke.. but Sasuke was just a tool to him. A fighting partner. They had no bond at all for Madara to feel anything other than maybe disappointment that his job will remain difficult and drawn out.
Had this been in a different era, back when he was a kid or young adult.. I'm sure he would actually be enraged by Sasuke's death because his views had humanity within them rather than black and white views with a formulated goal.
