That first scan doesn't invalidate anything. The scan of 1010 making the claim is from the Chūnin exams, which Iwabe is going to enter now, or he isn't? Not only that but since Iwabe is a repeater, he is 3 years older than Neji in the exams. So he should be around the same age of Shippuden Neji in that first scan.. I was actually expecting you to consider this.

Anyway..

The same Neji that fought at Chūnin exams went head to head with an enchanced Naruto with Kurama cloak and actually matched his strength.

Hundreds of characters in the series and you compared a non Canon character with Neji.I don't hate Boruto series I just can't stand people comparing it to original cast it doesn't make any sense that series was better and you have to accept that it's not about power level.Its about series.
