Why doesn't Hinata have the Tenseigan

Too much mixing with humans has dwindled the overall power of tenseigan users to the point where byakugan became common. Maybe Neji with some luck or some extra chakra from a pure Otsotsuki would be able to unlock it.Wait a minute, someone's dead.

If Hinata couldn't unlock it in her fight with Pain her hope are completely lost in the kitchen.

Maybe Himawari will have the chance with the Senju ancestry from Naruto, otherwise its just an asspull to make the plot enjoyable.

The better question why did Hanabi eye revert back to Byakugan? I mean Hanabi eyes evolved from Byakugan to Tenseigan and then reverts back to Byakugan permanently.

When Madara removed his eyes and gave it to Nagato they stayed as Rinnengan and when Nagato died they remained as Rinnengan. So why would Tenseigan revert back to Byakugan?

Because Hanabi is not the true heirs of Hyuga since she just the replacement and she is neither 'Byakugan princess' a name recognize by Hamura and Otsutsuki moon clan. Since Hanabi is not born with the quality chakura for Tensigan or Jougan.

But Nagato and Obito are not true owner of the Rinnengan yet it doesn’t revert to Sharingan level. Tenseigan is the only dojutsu to revert back to normal permanent.

OT: Hanabi got cheated by the writers on that bit if you ask me. I feel like the writers just didn't want Hanabi to be rikudou level, so they reverted her eyes back​ to byakugan. Pure nerf for the sake of convenience. In my opinion, is also why Hinata didn't get tenseigan or anything really epic from obtaining Hamura's chakara.

I think Tenseigan is a different appearance, not like Rinnegan which required to change the eye permanently. Tenseigan may can be activated and deactivated at will. Hinata still has a huge possibility to display Tenseigan in near future but i dont think it will be in her both eye since her Byakugan maybe so pure to be contiminated (even Kaguya or other Otsutsuki byakugan isn't transforming), maybe she will just shown the Tenseigan altar/weapon like the one in The Last movie.
