He wasn't relevant in that episode, so it's kind of just thrown in there.

The stuff about Sarada's sharingan isn't actually so relevant right now. She hasn't been so important in the manga lately (despite putting up a good show against those puppets and Ao), and even then, she hasn't used her sharingan that much in the manga.

If you're gonna consider Sarada learning to use her SHaringan and awakening it as two different things, it seems stupid to not comment on Boruto awakening his Dojutsu for the first time and using it in the Nue arc. It is literally the most important addition to this series the anime has bothered to give us s far.

I should really watch the anime as your thread has me rather interested again and why toneri is in the series when I'm series ure he was from the last movie? I've been half following the manga so maybe that's also my problem.
