Is there any anime series that's characters have different designs than its manga counterpart? Or is Boruto the only series to have anime and the manga have different designs of the characters?

Borutos the only one I can think of currently.... akame ga kill might of had one but I don’t recall. Usually it’s different outfits at the most. Plus do you mean actual character designs or just a different looking art style?

Not really, at the most I can recall is like if a manga design shows too much skin. The anime design might add extra clothes to cover it

Oh ok, well you won’t like this one but dbs is currently doing it as well lol. Gohan has his Goku gi on for the TOP in the anime but has his old high school training get up(piccolos gi without the cool white part) in the manga

If you were actually aware of things, you would understand that clotches in Boruto anime are different in order to soften up the art for their audience. Exactly like SP does with Tokyo Ghoul.

When will you understand that it is a kids anime in spite of anything you can post? Boruto manga and anime aren't Seinen. Put that into your head.
