Sarada at the current time in the anime would solo Boruto quite easily. Boruto just like his dad most of the series showed no ability to resist or even detect a relatively basic genjutsu. He seemingly did not even know the concept of how to break out of a genjutsu. If what we witnessed is to be believed he would easily lose to someone prolific in genjutsu. This includes Sarada who was able to put even the jonin Konohamaru in a genjutsu. When you consider how close the two of them are in skill even without genjutsu, Sarada should quite easily be able to beat Boruto with her sharingan genjutsu until he get's much better at defending against it.

Nothing says Sarada's Genjutsu is in any way stronger than that Byakuya leader guy. Broad assumption to assume that Boruto, especially his manga self, would be 100% incapable to counter it.

I agree Boruto has shown 0 genjutsu resistance, subtle genjutsu is more than enough to deal with him. If Sarada can put a jonin like Konohamaru under subtle genjutsu then a small fry like Boruto is just that. Maybe that'll change at some point in the future hr may find resistance via dojutsu or something as long as Sarada's prowess doesnt reach Itachi level which is where it's headed.

All it means is that Sarada has more option of dealing Boruto but that doesn't prove that she has the capability of beating him in every department when Boruto also excel in other areas. Both had their shortcoming in certain situation or different instances when their feats inflicted their opponents which were fulfilled so despite their talents and skill it becomes more unclear to dissect the two and make comparison. If anything, their certain pros and flaws counteract with each other so it gets to a point where debating something is pointless since it will never get resolved unless we get something out of it.

The only reason why I'd made some claim with the Genjutsu is because it was apparent enough to the point that it becomes irrefutable.
