Boruto and DBS can't be compared NOW

No matter how many episodes it needs to start doesn’t count. U are judging boruto series based on fillers which is dumb if ask me.

I'm not judging the serie, I'm judging the episodes I saw, I compare the 8 first episodes of Boruto and DBS, there is no question for me, DBS is far better.
The Boruto series is almost only made of filler, even if you disagree because you have your very own conception of what is canon or not.
Like you said, the main plot hasn' t started yet, who is going to enjoy watching more than 10 hours of anime (equivalent to almost 2 seasons of game of throne for exemple) without real story developpement? 2 hours was too much for me.

Actually, there's merit in comparing DBS Final arc to Boruto fillers.

DBS has a whole is the epitome of TRASH. It's so bad, the term terrible doesn't completely describe the series.

As of now, the series has yet to put together a coherent storyline. The character are mostly one-dimensional. The battles are extremely redundant. The animation is beyond shitty. You can count the number of episodes with good animation. There's little to no character development. There's practically no world building. The amount of contradictions between established propositions in the series counts to more zeros than Goku's current PL. Only those who belong to the lowest denomination of anime audience, those with trashlike taste, and deductive reasoning, those who keep on telling themselves their childhood was awesome because of Dragonball, those who can't help but admit their taste for trash began with Dragonball, would want to watch the shit that is Dragonball Super.

On the hand, Boruto has a better animation. Even the fillers doesn't create as much contradiction as a 10 minute Dragonball Super episode. There's world building, and the characters actually has a personality. I could on, but even what's here is enough to justify Boruto fillers is better than Dragonball Super if you don't already known.

Possibly, but nothing will ever change the fact that we had to wait 50 eps to get anywhere. They’re attempting(not greatly imo) to world build a world that’s already there. Dbs took their existing fan base and ran with it, boruto is attempting to appease an existing fan base, while holding the hand of an entire new one, and it’s not working out that great

Depends on the viewer though doesn’t it? Obviously naruto is the better fleshed out and written series, but in that same respect dragon ball since it’s inception has never taken itself seriously. Even their authors seem completely different. Plus, you know.... they haven’t changed it much since z made its debut in he late 80’s. It also doesn’t help at all in borutos case that we’ve been teased something drastic and exciting already, and are just waiting to get to the point where that plot line starts. I get world building and character developing, but 50 eps and however many chapters in and we’ve only seen his eye in one medium, and his “curse seal” in another. The anime should
Of given us a small glimpse of Kara by now, even if it was cryptic as f ck. And honestly it probably wouldn’t be as bad if a.) naruto didn’t already exist, and /or b.) they didn’t give us the time skip scene off the bat.

There's no actual justification(s) behind their hate.
They come up with reasons such as; "weak villains" underwhelming battles" "no focus on Naruto and Sasuke" "fillers" "It's slow-paced", but even these are not the attributes of a bad series.

Why is it so hard for you to understand differing preferences? If I have to wait for years for the main plot to get beyond ghosts and kiddie missions, its an automatic fail in my book. Look at Naruto on 50 episodes. Look at DB super on 50 episodes. Look at Boruto. I know what I enjoyed the most.

In my opinion the Zabuza arc beats anything Boruto did in the first 10 episodes even
