Boruto and DBS can't be compared NOW

Episode 47 of boruto and we’re still not even close, episode 47 of dbs had already passed battle of the gods and revenge of f and was in a completely new arc (future trunks/Goku Black)

Even the DB Super manga is much faster paced and its monthly. Toyotaro's TOP is even faster paced than the anime and many characters have already been eliminated in the newer chapters. I expect it will move on to the next arc while the anime will catch up to it in 2 years or so.

To be fair, compare the chapters of Boruto to the same amount of chapters of DBS, I don' t know how much episodes Boruto has now.
I stopped watching the Boruto anime at episode 8 or so, although I' m a big Naruto fan.
I'm still watching DBS...

That’s smart, I only watch Boruto if I need something to watch while I eat. Outside of that, I’m not watching it lol. Dragon Ball Super though, I can’t stand it due to the inconsistent power levels of warriors. I’d definitely watch Boruto over Super but I’m still going to finish both series eventually.

I’m not even considering the manga, as there’s no comparison between the 2. The dbs manga currently shits on the boruto manga. I read the dbs manga just to see what happens with interest, and the differences. I read boruto manga also to see what happens, but I always expect it to not get to any particular point and make us wait till next issue for anything interesting. Especially with the blind hype surrounding boruto spoilers

Especially in their generation

Instead we’re getting the same quality and story themes of Naruto fillers

And thats how the series was for 90% of its debut. Ever since the Pain Arc fights were never this dumbed down and I have no issues with it because the current kunai fights bore me. When I compare Pain Arc, War Arc and even the Kage Summit Arc this current series seems like a joke in comparison. Naruto's pacing wasnt this slow



DB villains were never supposed to be complex. They exist only for the flashy explosions and the fun factor and the series doesnt try to become something it isnt. The fights are fun. Thats all that counts. And Naruto itself isnt as great contender in that aspect. Since the Pain Arc, the quality of the villains has gone down drastically. I would take Jiren as an antagonist over Kaguya any day, she was that bad and rushed.



I cant read the manga because I find the artstyle to be a complete joke. I am surprised Kishi doesnt take offense to his precious work being ruined by a new artist. The DB Super manga also has a newbie involved but the artstyle is 10x better

8 episodes (2 hours of anime) is more than enough to judge if you want to follow a serie or not, I should have dropped it earlier, I gave it its chance but got disappointed.
When you start a new serie, do you wait for the end to decide if you like it?

True. I got hooked on AOT not even 5 episodes in. One of the best ongoing series at the moment imo.

No matter how many episodes it needs to start doesn’t count. U are judging boruto series based on fillers which is dumb if ask me.

You got hooked in AOT because it started by adapting the manga MAIN PLOT. If Boruto started with the movie or started with shojoji arc it would have been wayyyyyyy better and people would get hooked faster in it

At the end of the day DB Super will have gone through 4 sagas, a movie and possible a new arc by the time shit gets real in Boruto while you are still here reading a series with kids tripping on their feet and falling down against villains
