Yes. The fighting style is literally taijutsu. Stronger taijutu doesnt mean they'd win in close combat though.

1 - Sarada didn't have any intel whatsoever on Mirai's abilities

Shikamaru was shown to be the best strategist and smartest ninja in narutoverse, and even with an army at his disposal, he was useless against overwhelming power.

Doesn't really matter how much of a strategist she is (which, while we're at it, she isn't that good), Mitsuki only needs a kunai, 1 sec of SM and her neck.
