So we’re just going to forget that he died multiple times throughout the series:
-Got burned and killed by Itachi’s Amaterasu shower
-Got sealed in the totsuka blade
-Had his jutsu taken away,
-He also allowed Kabuto to enhance himself via experiments

Nah Sasuke's making an excuse to cover up for his poor performance. Anyway Orochimaru didn't dispute Sasuke's claims in fact Orochimaru thought he'd won as the fight progressed and tried his takeover jutsu but got solo'd. As for Itachi he wasn't really a fight it was Itachi's plan to lose from the beginning.

The so-called invincible weapon, the totsuka blade.....was useless against Oro, he litterly solo'd its hype by escaping the sealing process using a single small white snake. If he had enough chakra, he could've just used oral rebirth and kill Itachi.

He was about to break out of a 3t sharingan genjutsu (despite the fact that this is the first time he fought an Uchiha member) made by Itachi, the most skilled genjutsu user in the whole series.

As for Sasuke, it's seriously funny that Oro could have easily killed him if he didn't try to take over his body. Re-watch the fight.

Btw, Kishi confirmed Oro will outlive everyone at the end
So he'll get stronger and gain a sharingan, use sage mode to its full extent (he can do that already), perfect Mokuton, learn more sealing jutsus, create more synthetic summonings, get himself an Uzumaki body, etc....and BOOM, he's already above the likes of Madara:sdo:
