That wouldn't really be restoration though, the Uzumaki bloodline has already been diluted anyway and the last Uzumaki with pure blood is Karin. Even if he married her, their kids wouldn't be 'pure' Uzumaki either. So, since the clan's blood is diluted anyway, what better way to lead to an evolution of sorts than to marry the Hyuuga princess and merge the Uzumaki and Hyuuga bloodlines. Your right Minamoto San. Naruto inherited Kushina's strong chakra and Karin has the life force and the jutsu. If he had children with Karin they would've inherited the strong chakra from Naruto boosting their Uzumaki jutsu and traits they get from her to their maximum potential. The clan would be on firm footing for restoration but instead he chose not to be a real man.

Thats how families were in the old time. They killed their family members for money, property, women or just about anything. Only thing he did not portray about family is beating women and children. It would have been more realistic. Kids should be taught real stuff if not they grow up and when they find out themselves they feel cheated.
