First of all yes the current arc is filler because unlike mist and sumire arcs it’s not mentioned in manga and or by the creator. Plus I used to say that when the shojoji arc was being released in the manga. Which wasn’t that good. But after chapter 16 i loved the manga more with all the KARA vessel and Ao stuff. These are more relevant than ryogi and shikadai like come on! They’re fighting a former shippuden character Ao ! He’s a great villain unlike Gekko lol. I don’t know how u like the anime NOW more than the manga NOW

Its a shame the Boruto anime is going through such an underwhelming and fillerish arc. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit interested at seeing Shikadai fight, since I always did like his dad's fights, and in that respect he is quite...clone-ish, though a lot more skilled, as shown by his match against Boruto and the way he used his shadow. And maybe we'll be having a good fight against the leader too later. But still, so far, it has been almost entirely underwhelming, even if I have hope to change. I can definitely remember being more excited for the Nue and Kiri arcs.

me too. this arc has to be the worst one so far. well it's the first filler arc. what did u expect from filler?
