Sasuke's IA was used with the Bijuu Chakra absorbed and combined into one. Which was about Hagoromo level of Chakra control. Sakura gets Sasuke's Susano'o boot to the face when it comes to CC

I don't even get why there is a need to compare techniques that are different in structure and usage CC-wise.

Byakugou is a CC-dependent tech. Sure, one could argue that IA (and every jutsu there is does) also depends on CC, but the the thing is that Byakugou is branded as some sort of medical ninjutsu pinnacle of chakra control Hail all that is great type of thing.

I really wouldn't fixate debating on what and whose techniques takes the CC-crown. Chakra Control can only take you so far.

Are people trying to compare the two? Both jutsu require different types of chakra control to use.

Indra's arrow itself is akin to rasen shuriken it is a Sasuke jutsu and he should be able to use it without tailed beast chakra. IA would require spacial recomposition not necessarily advanced chakra control as some would think. Sasuke used some tailed beast chakra to amplify the power of the attack itself, the feat of controlling, channeling and merging the chakra to boost the output of Indra's arrow required advanced chakra control and was comparable to Hogaromo's.

Byakugou works on different mechanics and relies purely on chakra control over an extended period of time, it doesn't rely on spacial recomposition or a change in nature. How people are trying to compare the two is beyond me.

It is not when it comes to precision.

The difference is that Sasuke can control the chakra needed for grand scale attacks (large amounts of chakra) while Sakura can control every aspect of chakra of not so large amounts of chakra and use a jutsu to its efficiency without wasting a drop of chakra.

Byakugou >>>>>>>>>>>> Indra Arrow. Any one who has read the damn manga would agree. Byakugou is controlling each and every aspect of Chakra to it's greatest detail. Indra Arrow do not have any hinting from the Manga to put it above Byakugou other than one statement which Nine Tails says "He is almost the level of Hagoromo. Except he is doing the opposite" which points to Hagoromo's melding chakras into one which, is not exactly precision but just mixing a bunch of Chakras into one. Sakura in her terribly weakened state could pass on chakra to Naruto and then aid Obito to travel vast dimensions requiring a huge ton of chakra despite her chakra being so low after giving the alliance and reviving Naruto. To do that much with a mediocre amount of chakra is truly the most impressive feat in the manga.

You can save up chakra your entire life and never have the amount Sasuke dumped into one jutsu. It’s really on an entirely different scale than byakugo. You also have to consider that it was combined with susanoo which already takes a ton of control. Plus tailed beast chakra is harder to manipulate than normal chakra. Sakura’s jutsu is good but I doubt she could tank Indra’s Arrow with byakugo. That would be the real test.
