Only because Hiashi judgement was skewed. He believed Hinata kindness was a weakness. While canonically Hinata is a master of the Gentle Fist we never actually saw Hinabi pulling a single Hyuuga technique canonically, just in Boruto anime and we know how that one goes.

Hinata is a seasoned fighter with war experience, the Byakugan princess who defeated several puppets when a single one kidnapped her sister.

I am sorry but the Byakugan princess gets this for now but Hanabi has the potential to surpass her, one day..maybe..

No man, not everything is based on SCANS but there is one thing that is called reading comprehension and being able to do associations according to what is shown to us as readers and viewers.

It is funny how you just focus on what you know that was displayed in a filler, while having no arguments towards the rest. Exactly the same filler that depicted Hanabi as being superior to Hinata because she hesitated on gentle fisting her sister head into the ground. Hinata is canonically the Gentle Fist master and Heiress to the Hyuuga clan aka the Byakugan Princess.

There is no canon evidence that supports your claims of Hinata being inferior but there is canon evidence that supports Hinata as being the epitome (Master of the Gentle Fist and Heiress x2) of the Hyuuga clan and that her hesitation (as seen on the filler and canonically supported by Neji who was trained by Hiashi) and lack of self-confidence was seen as a bad factor by the main and branch house.

Hiashi felt shame and considered Hinata of not being worthy because she had no intent on hurting/defeating Hanabi who was five years younger. It was a test to her resolve, get your comprehension and interpretation straight and stop trolling, it is starting to look you missed Part I entirely.
