I think the OP is being overly dramatic. So what they are wearing heels? That isn't sexual or provocative at all, regardless of age. It would be sexual if they were making lewd gestures, saying lewd things or showing private parts. Some simple shoes though mean absolutely nothing.

Plus it's not like the heels affect their actual characters, the plot or the battles. Have you ever seen Sarada be hindered by the heels? No! Have the heels changed her personality? No! She is still the same Sarada in heels as she is in flats or barefoot.

To the people calling this hentai: I don't think you know what hentai is.

I really don't understand Ikemoto's reasoning for giving the females shorter clothing and heels aside from being some kind of loli lover. No one has pointed it out yet, but he just seems more detailed than Kishimoto altogether because he also adds more details to the males' shoes and clothing. I just wish he'd stop adding longass belts to ninjas and gives Kawaki a complete redesign.

Kawaki's pants are so big that they go beneath his feet.

All ninjas should logically be hindered very much by heels. He made a design choice that literally makes 0 sense on every female specifically. It's even wrong in regards to style because it's the choice of style for older women. It makes 0 sense why someone like Sumire would wear heels. It's just wrong on so many levels.

The key words in your first sentence are "should be". I agree that in real life, the heels would likely be a hindrance, but this is fiction, and there has been no depicted hindrance stemming from the heels in either the manga or the anime.

Think about it from a writing perspective for a minute:

Let's say hypothetically that I was watching Ikemoto draw Sarada in her manga outfit (heels and all) , and watching Kodachi write the script as Ikemoto draws it. If I were to ask Kodachi what he thought the maximum speed that Sarada could run was, he might say something like 25 km/hr.

Now let's say I came back the next day and Ikemoto was drawing a scene where Sarada was barefoot. If I asked Kodachi the same question again, I doubt his answer would change.

Basically, what I'm getting at is this: I highly doubt that Kodachi is thinking about Sarada's (or any girl's) shoes when he writes stuff like fight scenes. That is why I doubt that the heels would actually affect anything. Kodachi would still write Sarada as being just as good in her heels as he would with her being barefoot.

Look at the time when she beat up those mujina bandits. Did you see her tripping over her shoes or anything like that? No.

Detach yourself from the real life mechanics behind heels when thinking about this issue. This is a series about fictional ninjas that can walk on water and walls, so running and fighting in heels is not exactly a stretch.

Also, style is subjective. You have the right to say that the style is bad, but that is your opinion and not solid fact. Style even varies from culture to culture. In some societies, men and women alike walk around practically naked. In my anthropology class, I actually just recently saw a documentary about a certain modern tribal society. In that society, even the women's bare breasts were plainly and openly out, yet nobody made a fuss because nobody cared about that kind of crap.

Style is just subjective. It doesn't really matter.

Yeah, I know it doesn't follow true mechanics, but it's still ridiculous and somewhat puts Ike's work up there with the other genres that disregard practically for sexualizing(you can't say it's not sexualizing when looking at Sarada's poses and leg positioning) like jiggly armor.

And on the style bit, it literally makes no sense for heels to be a style for ninjas. It's flat out of place no matter how subjective style is.

What poses though? Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's just the fact that I don't really have any leg fetish that acts as the reason why I haven't seen any provocative or sexualized poses that you speak of. All the instances that I hear people speaking of when they talk about Sarada's "poses", are just times when she is merely standing up straight or talking.

To me, that isn't sexual. Simply seeing bare legs isn't sexual either.

It could just be me, but Sarada seems to be posing consistently in the manga.

Every now and then there's the weirder ones like when she was in her room.
And two of the covers already look like they could fit in a pinup magazine of lolis.
Females(specifically) legs and feet facing inwards is also a thing(watch a cat walk).

Those first two scans only show Sarada with her hands on her hips and standing up straight. That isn't sexual.

Then there is Sarada running (which is natural for a ninja), and Sumire standing and waving (which isn't really sexual).

Yeah, I agree to a small extent, but it's the entire thing that bothers me. You'd have to put effort into finding the male characters doing any of that. All of the actions taken and clothing given to them are pinup-ish.

People acting like they live in the 19th century. The manga designs are way better than the garbage anime ones. Whoever designed the manga must be a genius. They look so nice and detailed and extravagant in Manga coloring while does crap to it. Don't get why people hating on the manga artist.
