Sarada and Mitsuki are lame Characters

This recent arc made me realize that both Sarada and Mitsuki have nothing of their own as characters. What it really boil down to is that the entire aspect as characters mainly revolving around Boruto life.

Sarada as her aspiration to become hokage never faced any real obstacle on her path. Sarada is turning out to be a flawless character without much struggles in pertaining her own problem except her "personal" issues with Boruto.
Heck the Anime never took the opportunity to explain why she wanted to be acknowledge when everyone in her class seems to get along with her pretty well.

Whereas with Mitsuki, he is just another sai clone riding on Boruto coattail. He's a boring ass character with almost no personality. Even portrayed as "mysterious" doesn't make him standout as a character like Kaguya for example unless they decided to reveal his ulterior motives sooner rather than later like using Boruto to achieve something greater.

So despite this arc centered focus on Shikadai, the whole theme about modernization allows Boruto to get effected by his morale dilemma and continue to be more grounded with his struggles in pertaining his relationship with his father and his lack of resolve has gotten significantly worse to stacks thing up onto.


I don't see Mitsuki or Sarada in any part of this arc, instead the anime brushed them aside like the other side cast. Say about Boruto, but atleast he has his own story unlike Naruto who's entirely focused on Sasuke.

Funny enough, in this arc we even see Iwabe facing his own problem and drove the others by his arrogance. Shikadai and Iwabe are the only side characters better than both Mitsuki and Sarada which is pretty sad.

manga-wise MAIN Plot wise. There is only one mini arc(shojoji arc) so it is in its EARLY stages.

Gaiden Sarada and Sarada we have now are totally different characters but i agree with you bro. Still its a fact that i dont like Boruto and i dont wanna see Sarada end up with him. And now im even thinking about that Boruto adult images, i still think his character wont change that much but i hope it will. But we have him as the MC so , thats what it is.

Like i said in previous post , she gaiden Sarada was the best, and i dont know why they decided to change her, but i guess because Kishimoto isnt the writer anymore but fodderikemoto. About Boruto, he is the MC so its all about him in this manga and its far different from Naruto manga where every character had some story and development unlike here

I can assure you that Sarada and Mitsuki, as side characters, are way more interesting than Boruto, the protagonist.

Their popularity among the fanbase is a proof of that. Boruto fails to deliver as a character.

Your cult isn't the mainstream fanbase, unless you also believe Sakura is the shinning mascot of Naruto?


Unlike Naruto though, Boruto the series has more oomph with their side characters that aren't villains. Or at least more screen time, regardless of their lack of potential to some forgotten/sidelined Naruto cast who had a good backstory and story path but were sadly forgotten for Team 7 DRAMA.


OT: While Mitsuki is currently being sidelined his story is connected to the main plot of the series. I believe he will have a ton of shine when things start to kick off with Boruto's destiny.

Power wise, they're all great imo.
However, in terms of their personalities:
- Sarada-->Amazing.
- Boruto-->He's amazing too(Not looking forward to him in the movie tho :/)

He looks like Sai 2.0 personality wise, but he's far more interesting than Boruto as a character. His moveset is interesting as well.

Sarada > Mitsuki > Konohamaru >>>>>>> Boruto imo
