Neither is Vagabond and it irks me because I was reading these series and would like to finish them. But writer got bored or so. :| Personally I would tolerate lower quality of art as long as the plot is enjoyable. e.g. The Ruler of the Land. That manhwa art sucks for the first arc. Gradually one gets used to it and art too improves. The art in later chapers is much better. But those initial arcs are so fun to read that I wouldn't have missed it.^This is what i wrote. You said Berserk was not finished,
It's neither here nor there. Someone made silly comparison counting manga pages claiming that other series are delivering more than 70 pages per month when they are not. Berserk and Vagabond have been in hiatus- writers burned out on the project. OP is running but you don't get 15-16 pages and break every few weeks so it's like 45-46 pages per month.i said that Berserk art is superior and serves as a standard of appreciation and quality. Never in my reply i compared their art to Ikemoto and it would be ridiculous to do it but does this mean i can't be here or enjoy Naruto/Boruto? No, it doesn't.
And people started bashing ikemoto for not delivering the ideal 76 pages per month. When I called one of such people out you post drawings from Berserk which is neither regular nor is delivering more than some 20 pages per chapter.
You see good art needs more time. Few people will give you good art, good plot and withing certain time. Very few.
Such chest thumping.. lol If you will be happy with only 20 pages per chapter like the Berserk does, for Boruto let Ikemoto know and jump know.Let me just add that it does mean that my standards are based in really good Mangakas and that alone gives me enough visual culture to be able to distinguish Oda's work from Ikemoto's.
Random art and trying to fit in someone else' shoes at the same time as trying to find one's own style will be a challenge for anyone.Ikemoto actually downgraded, his work in Naruto was pretty good, it is weird what happened.
Find something else. There is nothing worse than forcing yourself to read something you don't enjoy anymore. It is like tasting a mediocre wine, after trying a really great one.
Sure. The comparison i made was with Oda. Oda is a good wine, it is my opinion, anyway.
He certainly has a right to refuse IMO but I doubt he has Togashi's choices. What 's the source of your claim that he refused? Did you read it correctly? It wasn't about any of those.
It was about Ikemoto's refusal for making weekly releases because he is too busy and if he is too busy why does the artwork lackluster - the people added.
.Isn't it normal that in a discussion with a certain theme that is narrow at the beginning eventually tends to get wider? I think this is where the thread went. Ikemoto's work was bashed, Oda's was brought into the thread, weekly/monthly releases points were made and eventually comparisons appeared
You need to think things through too. And that's not reason enough to attack anyone.
Loyal fan? How many volumes you did you buy? If you don't like ikemoto's art, don't buy it. He will come to know when he loses money. But if you never paid any to the mangka then your words are empty. If you never rewarded the work you liked, your opinion wouldn't affect him enough to reward you.Don't we as loyal Naruto fans deserve the best? Is Ikemoto's art something that should be accepted without critic? I don't think so. Bashing is not ok but criticizing seems like a normal thing in the 21st centurty. Especially when the OP as like thirty threads made in the past purely bashing Boruto manga artwork.
It's an easy guess that anyone calling the art trash here has not drawn anything ever but stick figures or less.
