Long time ago I picked up my first book,
It's cover was stunning to see.
But I couldn't grasp the message of it;
It's content was hard to read.
So I handed this book to someone else;
It was to complicated for me.

Then one day I found it again
It's covers - yellow, faded and worn.
I've swallowed this book, again and again;
'Til it's pages got wrinkled and torn.

I've grown to love it, oh so much
Like some wacky, juvenile romance.
I get lost in it, over and over again;
Whenever I get the chance​
