Anyone else finds this somewhat intriguing?

Im talking about the persona between Masked Obito (essentially Madara), and Obito once Naruto broke his mask.

We all know that once Madara arrived, Obito had no more reason to keep up the Madara persona.

But when you pay attention, (at least when I did), I noticed that though Obito was essentially "acting" like Madara, but he wasn't necessary a puppet with no actions of his own.

All of his words, especially when he chose to tell Sasuke about the truth of Itachi, was all of his own doing. Madara wasn't there during the Uchiha Massacre, so it really wouldn't make much sense that Obito would be emulating him when he's talking to Sasuke about it.

I suppose I find it odd that Obito spent literally years emulating Madara only for his OG persona to appear less than that of Madara's. If anything, I find that he should've been even more mature when he took the mask off.

Think about it...this is the same guy who treated Sasuke like a little n*gga throughout the whole series-- I think him and Sasuke should've had a conversation during the Kaguya arc about their relationship throughout the series.

Then again, powerful ninja need only to speak through their hearts. Or so it seems...

i have no doubts that Madara not only knew about the massacre but was more than likely the impetus that allowed it to occur. Im speaking specifically on how drastically Obito's personality changed once his mask came off.

Nah i dont see it, it took Itachi to approach Obito who thought he could use him to causr the massacre. Madara made a promise to his brother to protect the clan, even if he disagreed with them I dont see him supporting it.

Agreed Madara made that promise to his brother, it's also why he didn't off Sasuke straight away and tried to convince him to join him. Imagine Madara learnt Obito was involved he'd probably stomp him as well.

Madara the one itachi saw. Itachi is not dumb enough to believe someone behind a mask was someone he thought was proven wrong. Itachi doesn't even know obito and the one he met had long hair.

I don't think Madara would have cared. He probably would have even expected this. Remember, the Uchiha clan turned their back on Madara, and in turn Madara left them in pursuit of a greater goal.
