Sound 4 vs Sasuke Retrieval Squad: Matchup Brackets topic

The original fights were as follows:

Chouji vs Jiroubo
Neji vs Kidoumaru
Kiba vs Sakon/Ukon
Shikamaru vs Tayuya.

How would you rearrange the teams so that one side had the best matchups? How about the other?

The whole "we don't have time, we need to fight them 1v1" thing was stupid. They can take out each member in like 1 minute which is nothing time-wise, especially with two of the best trackers in K11.

The whole "we don't have time, we need to fight them 1v1" thing was stupid. They can take out each member in like 1 minute which is nothing time-wise, especially with two of the best trackers in K11.

I dont think they had the team work for it, also Kishi's pirpose was to make Sasuke leave the village. If they were to fight the sound 4 together, the 4 would get a significant power boost to injure and stall at least.

I think if the whole team fought the same opponent, then it would be 5v4, sound 4 will fight together also.

Even if one of them took Sasuke and tried to retreat, it will be 4v4 and I don't think they could win against sound 4 together, they would have been defeated before the reinforcement's arrival.

Jibobo vs Shika- Shika's shadows get overpowered

Neji vs Sakon/Ukon- Teh fact thet Neji fights in close quarters will be his downfall. One of teh bros will tank his juuken then slip inside his body and kill him

Choji vs Tayuya- Sound goes through his fatso ball no jutsu. He gets trapped in mugen onsen and Tayuya tortures him to death.

Kidomaru vs Kiba- Only Neji could break teh webs out of the 5 tasked with retrieving Sasuke. By default, Kiba looses

Just a bonus but Naruto would get low-diffed by all of them except teh fatty. Well, he might do okay vs Sakon/Ukon becuz teh kyuubi would solo teh $hit out of ukon if he tried to enter naruto's body

The fights were half arranged so the Konoha crew had the best matchup. Only thing I'd dp switch Choji with Kiba for their matches, as I think Kiba could narrowly beat Jirobo with his Fang Wolf Fang and Choji's massive powerup would give him what he needed to do him in unlike Kiba managed.Alternatively, put Naruto in any of those fights and he'd win it...minus Kidomaru, arguably. It depends if Naruto can use his Kyuubi chakra to get rid of those webs or not.

If I were to rearrange this in Sound 4's favor...well...

Kidomaru vs Choji- Long range versus short range. Even with his pill power ups, fatty still ain't immune to arrows through his chest.

Shikamaru vs Jirobo- Smart a tactician as Shika is, he really just lacks the firepower to put Jirobo down, especially with his Cursed Seals.

Neji vs Tayuya- The guy whose whole moveset is reliant on his sight and movement versus a Genjutsu user that can counter both.

Sakon vs Kiba- Pretty much the same as canon. Its surprising Kiba managed to survive for as long as he did, but we all know how it woulda gone down were Kankuro not there to save his ass.

That did not work. Kidomaru easily ensnared and toyed with the entire Sasuke rescue squad.

Kidomaru managed to catch Shikamaru in his webs, then he caught Naruto's clones, dodged Kiba and Aka's sneak attack while trapping them right after words, then he dodged Neji's sneak attack and caught Neji in a cocoon, then afterwords he blocked Naruto and then he caught Naruto.
