Sage Mode

Sage Mode seems to be a skill specific to Toads and those who can summon toads. That's kind of prejudice towards the other animal summons. Dosn't anybody think that the other summoning animals like snakes or canine should be able to have their version of sage mode or something.

It all depends,it should be fair for other species of animals to have sage mode. But at the same time I think sage mode would be exactly the same. The only transformation that happens during sage mode is the eyes. The only thing that would be diffrent is the improper sage mode. Generally Jiraiya looked like a toad. But what would the human look like in improper sage mode if it was a snake?

Thats very true. They were in the sacred mountains. So they learned it first. Its hidden so they would have to evolve. To let other species learn it.

I'm just saying when the people transform into sage mode they gain toad characteristics, like Naruto's eyes, and Jiraya's entire face. Also when attempting to gather natural energy if the person isn't ballenced the begin to turn into a toad regardless if they're using the special oil or not.

Well maybe in the near future there will be a new sage mode. Unlike Jiraiya, Naruto can control natural energy. He may have a new form of sage mode in the future especially now that he has control of nine tails.

i completly agree....a person would just have to learn it...the toads where just the first to discover it i think

Jiraya is a boss so he can have sage mode, all the other animals suck nuts, like Tsunades slug (lol) and Gai's turtle (lmao).

I understand what your saying...the only sages weve seen so far are toads...in order to learn sage mode you have to learn from the toad, using toad oil that makes u look similar to a toad, and turning into a statue of a toad once you fail...

In a sense i think sage mode comes from the unique abilities a toad has...leaping high into the air, staying completely still on leaf pads, and having that extra sense of nature...it does kind of suck that other creature doesnt have it but the unanswered questions can only be answered by the great mind of KishiU_U

no way! yea it would be fair for the other animals to have their own version of sage mode but thats impossible because toads are the ones who can control nature energy, so if another animal tried to use it they would turn into a toad apparently

I wouldnt think that, maybe they could control nature energy too if it was say a snake or a frog.

if that was the case then why would everyone who cant control it turn into a frog instead something more neutral? i just think that the toads have special properties that make them the only controllers of nature energy

The only reason that people who try turn into toads are because they use the toad oil. If they were to put on snake venom instead, I believe they would turn into a snake. As to an improper snake sage form, I believe they would probably begin to sprout scales all over their body. As to abilities, possibly able to sense chakra with their tongues, that would be elongated. Eyes would have that glass over look similar to most snakes. Possibly the abiity to slither/move more silently than the stealthiest ninja. An extra tough layer of skin that they shed when the sage mode time limit is up (sortive similar to Gaara's Second skin). Elongated fangs with venom.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

I like the idea for my own personal reasons though. The storyline that I want to build for my character will eventually allow him to summon a certain animal (I'm not saying because I don't want it stolen.) Its not listed as of yet so I'm gonna wait til I can make my own custom animal with my own custom sage mode. I actually had that idea before you posted this. I felt obligated to post on this thread. lol
But I will give hints. The sage mode of my animal will give me strength similar, if not exceeding that of Tsunade and Sakura. The will to never give up even if mortally wounded (wouldnt call it will, but its damned near close to that word. lmfao). My improper form will sprout an extra appendage. It has been used in Naruto only 1x. What is my animal?

He absorbed the Nature chakra of the Toad that Naruto gave him. You were saying sir. Do you not think it possible to absorb the Nature Chakra of a different animal and then be turned into that animal instead?

now way dude because there is no such thing as nature energy from a different animal. its not called toad nature energy. nature energy is absolete in what is is. im not saying that only toad summoners can use sage mode because toads can reverse summon people to their world to train anytime they want. but none of the other animals can use the nature energy only toads.

that has not been confirmed as of yet. it doesnt mean that the possibility doesnt exist. If ANY summon goes wrong, the user will be summoned to the land of the animal they are trying to summon. You dont think that the animal could reverse summon the user back? that makes no sense. So far, Toads have been the only animal whose homeland we have seen. That doesnt mean that Kakashi couldnt go to his summoned animal land and learn their sage mode. It is possible, it just hasnt been explored in the manga or the show as of yet. I understand your point, however I am saying that it is still possible.

ok. i understand your point too, i believe it would be possible but the chances to me dont seem likely. i think that if the other animals did have something like narutos sage mode then it would be totally different and would have nothing to do with nature energy
