I'm assuming it's low/mid distance. So she weaves her hand seals, catches them all simultaneously and kills them inside of her genjutsu. End of story.

Asuma maybe a great jonin but power of sound 5 together is too much for him and the mostly featless Kurenai to handle. They get annihilated no doubt about it. Healthy Kimimaro alone with his wide area attacks alone must prove to be very difficult for them to handle.

Kidomaru - Asuma's wind blade to the neck or burning ash.

Sakon and Ukon - Asuma's flying swallow negs

Tatuya - Against two Jonins, one a genjutsu type. Tatuya is merk'ed


Kimmaro - His KKG makes killing him a challenge. Plus, he's an expert at taijutsu. Even Lee was impressed. However, Gaara outsmarted him twice. Surely, Kurenai and Asuma can out-think Skeletor.

Tayuya's genjutsu was only an issue against Skikamaru because the location enabled her to obscure her location. This shouldn't even be a problem given the location and the fact that Asuma can blitz her ass while Kimimaro has no solution to Kurenai's genjutsu. Even Kisame was easily fooled by it.

The duo wins.

They eventually get overwhelmed by the 5. They are no pushovers, specially when in curse mark mode. Kurenai has no feats whatsoever, and her genjutsu can be countered easily by Tayuya's (and not only that, she has longer reach). Kimmimaro is a Taijutsu specialist that can keep Asuma occupied while Kidomaru aims and shots a deadly arrow.

Jirobo and the twins can provide assistance as well, and it's not like Asuma is a feat powerhouse either to compensate.

The 5 of them take this comfortably
