Ketsuryugan vs Sharingan - Genjutsu prowess

Is it safe to assume that any form of Ketsuryugan genjutsu can be broken by M.S?
And... Does the ketsuryugan have an evolved state comparable to Mangyekou Sharing an or Tenseigan?

Not sure how it went in novel, but in Sasuke's Shinden anime adaptation, the whole final fight was a Sharingan genjutsu casted by Sasuke(he fought the same way just like his big brother used to ) so there you have it.
