People may get wrong impression, because RSM Naruto did slightly better against Kaguya or Madara and survived his fight with Sasuke. Problem is Sasuke was limited to 1 Rinnegan jutsu through the whole Madara and Kaguya fight. Meanwhile Naruto was utilizing all his new powers and buffs without a problem. Sasuke's new powers were restricted by plot as he simply didn't use them at all or "learned" them too late(looking at preta path which came at the end of the fight)
Unrestricted Rinnegan > anything else.

The rinnegan is the most interesting six path power of the bunch because of the variety of abilities bestowed to you person to person. With six path senjutsu it's usually follows the same functions with only one major difference depending on the user (whether or not they are able to use the bijus kekkai genkai/hiden art).

They both counter each other for the most part though

Naruto had restrictions. Half of the things he could have used weren't allowed.

RSM imo, it gives the user a complete understanding of how Chakra works and allows them to use CoAT. Which enables them to create Goudama which are really the most broken ability in the Narutoverse.
