The thread should be how close does madara come to beating itachi. The only reason he's being underestimated is because most of the fights hes not going all out, even in the kabuto fight you can see kabuto saying itachi was hiding many powers and techniques. Itachi is faster than madara and has tsukuyomi which is unbreakable as BZ said its the most powerful illusion putting it in the ranks of KA and IT. It controls matter, time, space according to Databook and manga. Totsuka blade can cut Susanoo up and the mirror can repel madara's attacks. I fail to see how madara is winning this. Finger genjutsu suppressed kyuubi enhanced naruto as you can see whiskers in the scan where naruto tried breaking out. Stamina is necessary for breaking genjutsu as stamina generates power which breaks the caster's control and disrupts the flow and if naruto couldnt break it who has better stamina than madara then latter obviously cant. Remember that was only 30%. 100% itachi would simply devastate the opponent and ask him to kill himself. Mirror can repel susanoo blade back at madara and he'll damage his own susanoo as happened with sasuke when he tried to attack it with kusanagi.
