[Discussion] What do you hate about your own country?

public bathrooms. i prefer the bathrooms i've encountered in Europe than America. more privacy

this is being general, but manners too. new yorkers for example can sometimes be loud and rude, compared to say parisians (especially the girls who are very polite)

identity. a lot of things that are "american" are just an adoption of other countries and cultures

OT:

I hate the fact that England doesn't really provide "out of the way" support to its people. I was talking to my uncle who lives there and he told me about 24/7 waiting rooms with heating that they have at the train stations. We rarely ever have that, when I go to boxing, I have to wait out in the cold which sucks. Drilling and making too much noise in Germany on Sundays is also not allowed. Free University is also a major thing. There are many more little things countries do which are simple to implement, but our Government doesn't seem to care about.

OT: Corruption, too heavy bureaucracy and a certain mindset that makes people go against one another instead of joining forces towards a common goal. All the rest I love

1.) Black people being 13% of the population and yet owning up to half this country's crime. Then there is the low education rates and the fact that you are more likely to be attacked by black people than any other ethnicity.

And what pisses me off the most is the generalization. Not all black people fit that category. Not all of us are criminals. But at times, everyone still generalizes us for having the same skin color.

I hate the fact that people in my country who do not pay their taxes get a longer prison sentence than rapists ~_~

That's f'ed up to the another level.

On the legal side I hate that my countries legal system can ruin a person's life and if the CPS or Police withold evidence nothing happens to them.

On the general side I hate our politicians can vote amend and change laws withoit the public's consent all because they've been elected.

I hate many other things about my country.
