Anyone realize gaara could have easily defeated Sasuke and Lee?

Firstly Gaara doesn't have the chakra control, and I dont think his mother has the willpower.
Secondly, Sasuke has seen smaller vs diedera.
Third, Sasuke can sheild himself in chidori, or the chidori by itself wouldve been enough to disperse,

Yea, he also got him with that last chidori, but he didn’t beat him, although sasuke over did it and then naruto stepped in so I guess it didn’t really finish. I don’t really know what ce sasuke would of had for shukaku though

From what I understand CE Gaara couldn't manipulate laarge amounts of sand. With the amount of sand he carried on him. He would not have been able to cover the exam area with enough sand to blind anybody

True Gaara was being taxed just using his armour. To maintain a sand screen all around and channel chakra into it would cost him way too much chakra. And he'd also need the sand and chakra control of the level to pull of such a feat. Sasuke would've waited him out and then solo'd him.

The sharingan can also see with clarity, or would see sand and the chakra particles in it so would easily be countered or evaded.

Even if it was possible Lee would probably lose but I cant see Sasuke losing for the above mentioned reasons.

Gaara still doesn' t know the trick, because he should have easily defeated Madara by throwing sand in his eyes.

Thats a fake maneuver. Every shinobi can carry chilli powder in thier pockets if your scenario is even possible. Ninjas are more than capable of avoiding sand in the eye.

Gaara could barely see weighted Lee let alone throw loose sand straight into his eye, whilst Sasuke managed to keep his distance becuase he wasn't as fast. Gaara wouldn't even think of that scenario in the CE, his entire fighting style at that point = pummeling his foes or constantly pressurising them into one of his attacks.

-Madara has several long range attacks and susanoo. Why are you comparing a Uchiha leader with year of experience in a warring period to two chuunins fighting in a closed arena? On the first case, Tsunade doesn't even utilize sand nor can she spread it in the air.

-Madara is undead and isn't affected by sand, he wasn't affected when Onnoki blew his shoulder off so you're making a moot point. Gaara's sand did however restricted his movement when he was alive.

-Sasuke and Lee speed is irrelevant if the sand is forming a airborne perimeter. It would be like running into a cloud of sand someone kicked up.



You guys seem to be under the impression that Gaara is going to be using his sand to directly attack him. All he has to do is something along these lines.

Notice how the sand is in the ambient air. Just multiply that and you have Sasuke and Lee trying to land hits on someone without getting sand in their eyes.

If Gaara wasn't such a dummy, all he would have to do is spread his sand out thinner.

Unfortunately, you're right. Gaara main tactic is to grab you and then crush you. Only later did he use his sand more deceptively.

Sasuke's and Lee's speed was the problem for Gaara. his sand couldn't keep up with them. Sasuke can defeat Gaara if he didn't use the 1 tail transformation because chidori can pierce through his sand.

A bijuu vs a genin is not really a fair fight.

His sand wouldn't have had to if he didn't clump it and focus on grabbing him. He could have used the sand as a barrier of loose sand to blind him. Sasuke would end up running into a cloud of sand that gets in his eyes.
