Just thought I’d get people’s thoughts on this, is it cool to be racist on here? Should there be consequences? It’s come to my attention that not all members here have to follow the same rules, thoughts?

Did you report his post you complained about just now?

There are forum rules. And there is a report button below each post. When you see a rule breaking post like " racism" - use the report button and sit back. It's job of staff to deal with such posts and members not yours. It's job of staff members to penalize them if need be not yours.

Someone breaking rule in a thread does not give you license to break rules yourself or to harass or threaten them or start off topic flame wars in other threads just because the other guy is posting too. If you do you may get penalized the the same.

Take note because it's standard policy on most forums.

Fair enough on the second part, I can understand that as I was going off topic, but I DID report the actual comment yesterday when it happened. As stated above, no one makes a racist “joke” like that out of nowhere. The fact that he’s constantly threatening other members about following the rules and then gets off Scott free just cause he says “I was just kidding” is kinda messed up and just send a bad message about the rules in general, or at least that’s how it looks from my viewpoint, I do appreciate your response though

Edit: the thread WAS taken down, but nothing happened to him in particular, I’ve been on here for awhile and it’s rare to see something like that just go like nothing, the dude straight up said black people should be extinct, I don’t need to be black to see just how prejudice that is

A bit late for me to go though all the reports to look for the details but probably one of the normal mods checked it already.

However you or other normal members shouldn't assume that no action has been taken. We do not share individual infraction history. Even if he got an infraction or two, you won't know it.
