Because the pay raise is a ruse and the tax cut for the middle class is temporary and would actually increase your taxes to an astronomical amount by 2027. The tax cut only benefits the rich.

The video covers the pay raise and I've made threads before about the tax cut.

I'm below the poverty line(Technically). My career has been getting pay raises like clockwork for the past few decades. These two statements were true before Donald Trump and will be after him.

Like I said before; what does accepting my annual pay raise(I actually get 3 this year for different reasons; and I'll still be below the poverty line) and my tax cut have to do with my overall opinion on it?

The way you're currently arguing, it's like you're actively doing something against this tax cut(Besides spreading awareness blah blah blah). Are you deferring that money to charity? Are you shipping that money back to president Trump himself? Or... Are you just accepting that new money into your bank account? What are you going to do with your new found money besides just accepting it like everyone else?

Ok, well you replied to this thread as though the tax cut had a direct effect on your work giving you a raise. But now you're saying it doesn't, so what exactly was the purpose for the comment?

Accepting the money and accepting the reality are two different things. You're not understanding that the tax cut for you is temporary and would in fact make you have a much harder time, especially if you are below the poverty line.
