Well you guys are forgetting that the manga made the mist village arc canon boruto mentions it to Ao so we can't say what happens in the anime is filler anymore with certainty, But the best parts of the anime have been the adaptations from manga, most of the anime I haven't liked. It has gotten better. I like manga because it seems more dark, and serious. Hopefully the anime will follow it's tone

Tento had a whole arc basically dedicated to him. The story unveiled thanks to him. Iwabe doesn't even exist in the Manga and is a support character in the anime..

Shizuma was disappointing and filler. Shojoji mainly revealed the existence of Kara and contributed to Boruto character development.

Shizuma and Kagura aren't filler. they are part of the arc that was referenced in the manga. Like Sumire Iwabe gonna appear soon enough and prove your else that manga and anime are one

The animation for the Mist arc was great and so was the fight but ultimately meaningless i rather would have seen an arc that focused on the ninja in the village and gave the new K11 some actual development.
