Naruto a kids anime?

People always say Boruto is for kids hmmm let’s see NARUTO used to air in CARTOON NETWORK A KIDS Channel.

I just remembered that and though to myself Naruto is a kids show too. For the people who are saying boruto is for kids what do u think now? Looks like naruto was for kids

I watched Naruto when I was a kid, and all the bloody fights didn't bother me. I understood it was part of the anime, so I didn't focus on the violence.

Every anime is for kids.

Most are but a good portion are intended for late Teens and up
For instance two of my favorite anime "CowBoy Beebop","FLCL","Lupin the third" and "Monster" are generally appreciated more by an older aduidence.I neer see younger teens watch or Mention Monster nor do they eer dicuss the underlying theme of puberty and coming of age in FLCL.

Attack on Titan is graphic like many Shonen anime are which are geared towards a younger audience and Naruto is a prime example of a show aimed young kids.Not to say the overall demographic isn't shared by older viewers which it defnitely is.

Although some scenes are not recommended for a child to watch, it is a childish anime if we look at the bigger picture. But I don't care if it is or not, I keep watching it because I like it even though I'm not a kid .

Don't worry dude, it does not necessarily mean any adult can not watch it.

Clearly not.
If OP included Manga Bastard would have been one of the titles mentioned as intended more a mature audience although I am inclined to believe most series are just graphic and don't really need a mature audience to enjoy or follow the plots.

Your right about bebop and flcl, don’t know about lupin, I think younger people never mention it cause it’s old as f ck. What people don’t understand is Japan’s anime’s and mangas for pre-teens, kids and even teens are a lot more mature than stuff say in America for the same age. For ex. You didn’t see anything on the old fox X-Men cartoon that you would see in say... naruto, or even bleach, but they both target the same age group in their respective countries

lmao, only for like half of part 1, but still you can tell the diffrence between Naruto and boruto, Naruto just more mature, its still for kids but just more mature then boruto. You can even tell by chuinin exams, Boruto chuinin exams is playing capture the flag lmao, while for Naruto chuinin exams they had to survive in the " Forest of death" for a whole day/fight for the scrolls.

I agree though some series are really ****ed up for younger audience ( just let's take Berserk as an example ) and then you have Tokyo Ghoul who seems to have a younger fanbase despite being a Seinen.

True the age of FLCL and CowBoy Beebop do play a role but they are critical darlings so they are well known tentpoles of the industry.
The main difference is the treatment of sexual matters and displays of violence and not necessarily subjects that are considered more "Adult" as Disney is aimed at towards children yet the films are still appreciated by adults fot the subtext and underlying themes.
