I think Sarada's flash grenade will play a big part in dealing with Ao so we won't get to see Sage mode.

I agree with this, I don’t see him using it this early unless he’s buying time for everyone else to escape. A one on one(probably the first for the new gen tbh) with a Kara member would be a better time imo. Personally I don’t think ao is nearly as capable on his own as he used to be and will just be a new ninja tool tech showcase

We don't even know how he survived that tho, so don't even consider it a feat for him. Besides, in whatever way he survived it, it was just because of his luckiness.

Or someone may have sacrificed their life to see him survive. Could have been that teleportation Jutsu Ay’s personal Aid had or maybe someone donton jutsued him far underground, or maybe he genjutsued someone into saving him? We just don’t know yet.

They will probably cover this though during his fight in dialogue or a flashback or something. Being the only survivor doesn’t necessarily make him the strongest.

Tsunade was the only Sanin for awhile until Sasuke brought Orochimaru back. Does that mean she is stronger than him or Jiraiya? See where I’m going with this?

We just have to wait for the details. If he did do it on his own, it just makes him more resourceful than the others not that much more powerful.
