Agreed we don't need her to be a side character who stands back and heals others, I'm still waiting for kodachi to make her the lead character and relegate Boruto (clone 0.5) to a side role.

Mitsuki was said to be a medical ninjutsu, so its very unlikely there would be two medical nins in one team. Byakugou is different so she will ofcourse attain it. It could be unique if thier are two medical nins.

It’s the 21st century maybe the writers realised it’s time to stop throwing woman on the side-line or giving them generic support roles and start giving them what they deserve not to mention she is an Uchiha with sharingan so medical ninjutsu as her main function would be such a waste, maybe as a side thing it wouldn’t be that bad.

That’s why I wholeheartedly despise the idea of sarada with Byakugō because not only will it nerf her for the three or so years it takes to charge up but also it’ll mean that she’ll probably be more of a medic than a CQC fighter.

Which should be the standard for EVERY ninja on a team.

Suppose the one with healing abilities get's injured and is incapable of healing him/herself in battle?Never be fully dependent on someone else.
