I want to say females and the females in this series’s are much better power-wise. However, in Naruto the females were more entertainig to watch imo
Personally I think they wanted to recap the Movie in order to get some time to finalize the story they are trying to tell, or at least get to the point on how the seals came to be. That seemed to be the gist of the recap.
Granted there is a third recap starting with what looks like to be another retcon of events, so go figure. lol
Well the Tentou Arc lasted, like what, 4-5 chapters? The current Arc started in chapter 16/7, and we are in 19 (and they are already fighting Ao?). This one will probably be longer, I think.
In terms of that interview, I only remember Ukyo/Ikemoto stating that it was Kishimoto's idea to come up with the flashforward. That and they weren't settled in on the designs just yet. But I don't remember anything on them not having an idea of where the story wanted to go yet.
I'm sure they had a vague concept. To be fair, I doubt they would know where the story would go that early on, but I think that's why the movie was recapped.
I think we'll be able to tell how long the series will take depending on the ending of this part. If it takes almost 5 years for Part 1 to end, then we are ****ed.
It was just even more disappointing compared to Mitsuki and Boruto's tag team fight after. That animation, the combination techniques, and the overall setting just felt better.
While Sarada and Buntan were over there throwing balls at each other ... :/
Nothing at all. Nor am I an animation guy.
Characters = Naruto
Animation = Naruto
Story = Naruto
Fights = Naruto
The only thing boruto is good for is the possible part 2 kawaki fight
Am I the only one looking forward to the movie arc? I hope it's a full fledged chunin exams like in Part 1
True. If it's really 10 chapters per Arc then we are screwed.I agree that they recapped the movie for a variety of reasons. I just meant that the recap gave us a pretty good idea of how long an arc would last. And you could view the Tentou thing as it's own arc, personally I've always viewed everything since the movie recap as one arc since Tentou really only served to introduce Kara.
That definitely made the fight better, but those other fights I listed were legit from start to finish.Don't forget how many times Sarada dodged the blades and lightning jutsus. and also don't forget the short taijutsu part. don't ignore these because they even made the fight better

I'm genuinely excited for the movie recap in the anime, as the current director of the anime is the same director as the movie (hence why the animation in the anime has so far been superb). He mentioned that there was a lot of cut content that he really wanted in the movie (such as an extended fight sequence between Sasuke and Kinshiki) but they had to be cut due to the length of the film - but he stated that they will be recreating all the content that had to be removed when they animate it in the anime. So I don't really see it as a recap, but rather the director's cut/extended edition of the movie.

I just don't understand where we are in the story, however. For example, the Anime is telling us the origin stories. The Manga recap (and the future Chunin Examination) would probably be the middle, yeah? So is the Manga starting off somewhere FAR in Part 1, or are we in the beginning of the story?
Because that matters. Imagine if this current Arc is setting up for the 'Orochimaru attacks Konohagakure or Sasuke leaving Arcs'. For example, we are learning more about Boruto's seal, and then he later gets entangled with Kara. Which then prompts an idea that he might leave?
Just throwing ideas around.

Whereas they didn't dedicate the fight to just Sarada and Buntan, they went back and forth, and then came back. It was just disappointing.
When they do big fights, they need to dedicate the entire time to the fight, and not cockblock the viewers. At the same time, if the animation was better, it would have been litty.
But there was just some conflicts I had personally with the time frame, animation (in certain scenes), and the jutsu's being thrown around that felt kinda lazy.
There hasn't been any fight in the series that makes me want to watch again aside from Sakura v. Shin, however.
What are the things Boruto series improving over the Naruto series?
Do you think something in Boruto series is handled better than in Naruto series?
EDIT: I will create this thread again after boruto manga ends. to see the difference in response in the comment section :bdpf:

I hate the fact that lightning is yellow now in Boruto. The lightning style in Naruto looked far more dangerous and cooler.
they have to keep it kid friendly that's why. lol :bdpf:
Shikadai is the only one who is a copy of his dad. The rest have their own personalityIn terms of Character, Boruto Verse is awful. so much similarity, *cough* SAMENESS actually, both in terms of appearance and of personality and even catch phrases - e.g. "it's a drag" -- is disgusting as if the writer has had no idea of his/her own.
In terms of storyline, Naruto Verse had a more adult plot than Boruto Verse, at least in MY opinion

Nothing, Boruto is just a kid show.
