Do you actually believe it will take 10 years for boruto manga to end?
Yup. Let's be realistic here - the manga is monthly, so we're only getting a max of 12 chapters per year (though that number will realistically be closer to 10 or 11 per year on account of breaks). Given how popular Naruto was, and still is, I believe they wouldn't have even bothered with a sequel series if they didn't plan on it being a significant length. Since it's monthly however, I also believe that they're also realistic enough not to print hundreds of chapters since that would take
decades at only 11 chapters per year. If I were to give an educated guess at how long I think the manga will last - I'd say it'll end up being roughly 100 chapters. So yes, that would by extension mean that my educated guess at how long the manga will last is roughly 10 years.
What about the anime? we have 52 episodes a year each episode is more than a chapter in the manga
That may be true, but the same was true with Naruto and that anime lasted 16 years. In my opinion the two greatest mistakes made was making the Boruto manga monthly and beginning the Boruto anime when they did. As now that the anime has taken off, they can't stop until the manga concludes (unless the show get's cancelled due to horrible ratings - but the odds of that are slim to none), and since the manga is monthly that means that the Boruto anime will very quickly follow in the footsteps of the Naruto anime and have an endless stream of filler between canon arcs.
