I know that reincarnation is just a concept, but there have been many cases where children remember where they died, how they died, what weapon was used to kill them, etc. What if... reincarnation is real?

Would reincarnation be a choice?

Also, let's say you're a ghost or spirit. Can you travel into the past?

I am asking this because I read somewhere online that in the spirit world/heaven/hell/void/other world or whatever you may see it as, you are outside of time and space. This means time is not linear in the spirit world. Would it be possible to reincarnate into the past? That would be amazing. Imagine if I would die when I am 81, and reincarnate into the past as a girl in 670 AD. Or if I chose not to reincarnate, I could still travel into the past or future since time is not linear and I exist outside of it.

What do you guys think? I think it's amazing.

Who knows. Hopefully it is real, that's what i'd like to think. It would really suck if you died and just ceased to exist completely.

that's a confusing concept. It's distorted and all over the place.

How pointless would it be to reincarnate into the past. Rehashing OLD stuff again? Why?

The past is to be LEFT behind. The concept of reincarnation is not only nonsubstantial, but it's full of HOLES.It doesn't make sense when you get to the nooks and crannies of it.

Anywho,

I do believe in ego "leaks", when a persons thought processes "leak" out from their words or notice something in their "aura". Their hidden intentions. And you end up GATHERING different information that allows you to solve things.

I, for some reason, have empathy towards child abductees. I know exactly how an abductor behaves, how OBSESSED they are, how JEALOUS they are,COMPULSIVE they are, and how hard it is to get away from them(they get angry when you leave the house)...They have abandonment issues, and for some reason they target children and use them. I guess, only a child would entertain or be convinced by their nonsense. Their desire,at the core, is incredibly infantile and that's what it entails. They want a "teddy bear" to completely use at their own disposal. That's a self-desire, and it's incredibly imagined-based.

"Ego leaks" from my father. He's definitely an abductor. He has abductor tendencies, even though he has never actually abducted me...he had all the symptoms of an Possessor/Obsesser. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in some kind of secret occult.

And gathering all this information would lead you to believe that you had some sort of past life as someone who had an experience with an abductor, when really it's just gathered information from experiences and "ego leaks" from other people.Liars are among us.

You've mentioned two things here. Reincarnation and then Time travel. Reincarnation is basically idiotic and illogical. Why would any human being who died while living a prosperous life want to be reborn as a dog or some rodent living a shit life in a sewer somewhere? (pun intended btw) :eww:

As for Time travel, then yah it's definitely plausible. But you know, you'd have to believe in God and gain His pleasure in order to be rewarded with such privileges.

Its possible my friend, we don't know anything after we die., I heard stories from 2 people. That said when they died whether it be for 3 mins or 10 seconds. They'd come back and say that it was just darkness and nothing happened.

As for coming back again or back in time, would just be as complicated as there being multi verses of the same things going on.

OT: Possible, Ghost time travel possible as well.

If I'm reincarnated as a human instead of an insect or something then perhaps...it is an exciting thought. But at the same time it's kinda not very good. Being detached from every single one of your lived lives. Even if you're not aware of it, ouch.

The brain can have false memories. I don't think it's real. It would be scary to go back in time I think.
How is it scary? I want to exist as a ghost in the ancient times to observe people. Transcend time like Hagoromo.

Ceasing to exist is scar indeed.

True.. basically oblivion.

Yeah NDE's are interesting to hear and read about.

Yeah it is painful. I'm already detached from everyone. I would be okay with reincarnation

Once it's passed, it's GONE. Doesn't exist.

If there's no time in the spirit world, then there's no past or future. There's only NOW.

The only thing that exists IS NOW.The past is GONE, future DOESN'T EXIST. Everything isn't happening all at once, in the spirit world. That's just ridiculous, and those people wouldn't know. That idea/concept is also MAN MADE. Made in cartoons.

Cartoon-based ideology. Time travel is a myth. There's no past, it was passed, and there's no future...if nothing is guaranteed. Those are ALL man made concepts.

The Egg
By: Andy Weir

You were on your way home when you died.
It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.
And that’s when you met me.
“What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?”
“You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point in mincing words.
“There was a… a truck and it was skidding…”
“Yup,” I said.
“I… I died?”
“Yup. But don’t feel bad about it. Everyone dies,” I said.
You looked around. There was nothingness. Just you and me. “What is this place?” You asked. “Is this the afterlife?”
“More or less,” I said.
“Are you god?” You asked.
“Yup,” I replied. “I’m God.”
“My kids… my wife,” you said.
“What about them?”
“Will they be all right?”
“That’s what I like to see,” I said. “You just died and your main concern is for your family. That’s good stuff right there.”
You looked at me with fascination. To you, I didn’t look like God. I just looked like some man. Or possibly a woman. Some vague authority figure, maybe. More of a grammar school teacher than the almighty.
“Don’t worry,” I said. “They’ll be fine. Your kids will remember you as perfect in every way. They didn’t have time to grow contempt for you. Your wife will cry on the outside, but will be secretly relieved. To be fair, your marriage was falling apart. If it’s any consolation, she’ll feel very guilty for feeling relieved.”
“Oh,” you said. “So what happens now? Do I go to heaven or hell or something?”
“Neither,” I said. “You’ll be reincarnated.”
“Ah,” you said. “So the Hindus were right,”
“All religions are right in their own way,” I said. “Walk with me.”
You followed along as we strode through the void. “Where are we going?”
“Nowhere in particular,” I said. “It’s just nice to walk while we talk.”
“So what’s the point, then?” You asked. “When I get reborn, I’ll just be a blank slate, right? A baby. So all my experiences and everything I did in this life won’t matter.”
“Not so!” I said. “You have within you all the knowledge and experiences of all your past lives. You just don’t remember them right now.”
I stopped walking and took you by the shoulders. “Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful, and gigantic than you can possibly imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It’s like sticking your finger in a glass of water to see if it’s hot or cold. You put a tiny part of yourself into the vessel, and when you bring it back out, you’ve gained all the experiences it had.
“You’ve been in a human for the last 48 years, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. If we hung out here for long enough, you’d start remembering everything. But there’s no point to doing that between each life.”
“How many times have I been reincarnated, then?”
“Oh lots. Lots and lots. An in to lots of different lives.” I said. “This time around, you’ll be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 AD.”
“Wait, what?” You stammered. “You’re sending me back in time?”
“Well, I guess technically. Time, as you know it, only exists in your universe. Things are different where I come from.”
“Where you come from?” You said.
“Oh sure,” I explained “I come from somewhere. Somewhere else. And there are others like me. I know you’ll want to know what it’s like there, but honestly you wouldn’t understand.”
“Oh,” you said, a little let down. “But wait. If I get reincarnated to other places in time, I could have interacted with myself at some point.”
“Sure. Happens all the time. And with both lives only aware of their own lifespan you don’t even know it’s happening.”
“So what’s the point of it all?”
“Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?”
“Well it’s a reasonable question,” you persisted.
I looked you in the eye. “The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature.”
“You mean mankind? You want us to mature?”
“No, just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.”
“Just me? What about everyone else?”
“There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.”
You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…”
“All you. Different incarnations of you.”
“Wait. I’m everyone!?”
“Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.
“I’m every human being who ever lived?”
“Or who will ever live, yes.”
“I’m Abraham Lincoln?”
“And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added.
“I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled.
“And you’re the millions he killed.”
“I’m Jesus?”
“And you’re everyone who followed him.”
You fell silent.
“Every time you victimized someone,” I said, “you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.”
You thought for a long time.
“Why?” You asked me. “Why do all this?”
“Because someday, you will become like me. Because that’s what you are. You’re one of my kind. You’re my child.”
“Whoa,” you said, incredulous. “You mean I’m a god?”
“No. Not yet. You’re a fetus. You’re still growing. Once you’ve lived every human life throughout all time, you will have grown enough to be born.”
“So the whole universe,” you said, “it’s just…”
“An egg.” I answered. “Now it’s time for you to move on to your next life.”
And I sent you on your way.

I doubt reincarnation is real. Is there some sort of queue to this thing because people have *** via their own thoughts, so do souls queue up until someone does and then they jump in? Or who chooses to be reincarnated into a starving family in Kongo? Also if you're reincarnated as a different person/animal/thing every time you're born isn't that same as ceasing to exist? I mean you lose all memories, traits, looks, genetics, thoughts- you're like a complete stranger. The original you is no more, he/she exists no more.

A crazy thought but we could never die. What i mean is we may constantly die every day but in different dimensions or timelines, then when we get old we just keep getting old in our own universe without actually consciously being aware of our own death. So ideally consciously we think were in the same dimension and timeline but realistically subconsciously were actually jumping to new dimensions everyday avoiding a conscious death.

Shouldn’t you kill your father to be on the safe side. I’m sure you are a perfect reader of character. You should just out of duty.
