OT: Obito stipulates a condition, it wasn't met so the answer is no. Rikudo Tobi mentions KA which could be a plausible way to beat Obtio. And Solarmoth has stated the correct order.

Maybe if itachi knew everything about him, he would beaten him. Otherwise kamui is just too OP. Physical jutsu are useless.

Uchihas are the only ones to counter Tsukyomi so KA is the answer. On top of that we don’t know how Itachi can deal with Gedo mazo (Gedo arts) and black chakra weapons.

If I remember correctly, Tobi killed Minato when he was 14 years old. Only Kakashi found a counter.

Notice how Tobi doesn't elaborate further on how Itachi would kill him. It could very well be a figure of speech. Tobi would be dead. Yah, right. How? Because if Itachi knew that he was really Obito and were actually alive, then Tobi's secret identity would be exposed and would eventually reach the whole shinobi world. Eventually the whole world would plan to capture him and either imprison or kill him. :yeah:

Talking about the trap Itachi set up for him. If Itachi had known everything about Obito, Obito would be dead. He would've come up with a trap that would've actually worked. Something Konan would've succeeded with if it wasn't for Izanagi. Something she didn't know he had.

Circumstances were:
1. Obito had to keep Itachi alive to cultivate Sasuke and to use him for his plans otherwise Akatsuki would've made quick work of him even if you argue Obito couldn't have done it alone. All this while Itachi plotted to kill him.
2. Itachi had Intel on the Akatsuki and their plans. If they broke their agreement, the Intel would be leaked. It's the same threat he made towards the Leaf Village and it's elders. If something where to happen to Sasuke, he would leak Intel to enemy nations.

Having to keep someone alive while they actively try to plot against you is what could be considered a thorn on someone's side. Speculation since it wasn't confirmed but I haven't seen any other good arguments for those circumstances.
