I dont think that scythe can be broken that easily. It took on kakuzus diamond morph punch and didnt even scratch. The same punch destroyed iron walls infused with the gift of sages chakra.

That is not to cutting force. the blast damage might not kill him however he still had his head cut off. to make a earthquake you need Tsunade level strength and the level of force needed is around the force of a lighting bolt.
